Do Children have to pay?
Yes. Everyone must have a ticket.  Coaster is rated MA15+. Although it is an all ages event patrons 15yrs and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Children under the age of 5 will not be admitted.

Will ID be required for Entry?
Yes ID will be required for Entry. Acceptable forms of ID are:
Passport, drivers license, proof of age card, secondary/tertiary ID card.

ON THE DAY

Is it an all ages event?
Yes, it is an all ages event. Patrons 15yrs & under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Children under the age of 5 will not be admitted.

Can I leave the venue and come back in?
NO. There will be no passouts.

If it rains do I get my money back?
No, the event will be going ahead rain, hail or shile. If it rains there is some shelter but not enough for everyone so you will get wet if you don’t bring a raincoat.

Can I bring my dog to the festival?
No dogs or other pets will be allowed on the grounds.  Exceptions will be made for Guide Dogs and Police sniffer dogs or people dresses as animals as long as you have a ticket.

Will there be an ATM onsite?
YES – an ATM WILL BE LOCATED AT THE MAIN BAR AREA

Can I bring along my own food and water?
You can bring water into the festival as long as it is in sealed plastic bottle. No glass or cans allowed. No food allowed. All bags will be checked by security and any food, glass ect will be confiscated.

Are bare feet ok?
No. You must wear shoes at all times. Thongs are allowed, however we do recommend closed in shoes unless you want your feet to look like those of a hobbit.

What Items are not allowed at Coaster?
Glass, cans, skateboards,  chairs (folding, portable, camping), angry personalities, anything studded, (i.e. belts, wristbands etc.), weapons of any kind, fireworks, alcohol, drugs, video and tape recording devices, professional still cameras (small still cameras ARE allowed), laser lights, umbrellas (bring a plastic poncho or a raincoat instead.), water pistols, any other items considered illegal or dangerous and strictly no animals.

Will Sniffer dogs be present at the event?
Anything is possible.  Coaster does not condone nor will tolerate the use of illicit substances. Any patrons found in the possession of such substances will be removed from the grounds immediately and may be the subject of police scrutiny. Don’t bring anything that can be sniffed.

Will Police be present at Coaster.
Yes, there will be a strong police presence at the event.

Can I catch a bus to the event?
Public buses will be available to and from Gosford Railway Station at specified times.
A complete schedule will be available closer to the event - please watch this space.

Can I catch train to the event?
Gosford Railway Station is the nearest station (approx 1km from venue). With a bus service to the venue available at specified times.

CAMPING & ACCOMMODATION

Can I camp overnight?
No, there is NO camping at the showground.

PARKING
We have parking available on the day on site. You'll be greeted at the
entrance of the carpark by parking officers stationed there all day and
for a small fee you can leave your car for the duration of the festival!

LOCATION- Gosford showgrounds, off glenning st (its part of the venue)
HOURS OPEN- 11 am til 12.00pm
COST- $5 per standard car

Please remember there's no passouts from the festival so grab everything
you need from your car before entering the site!

MERCHANDISE

Will I be able to buy bands merch?
Yes there will be an area where you can purchase from a great range of band merchandise.

Will there be “Coaster” Merch to buy?
Yes, we will have an exclusive spectacually sexy brand of Coaster products.  

ALCOHOL

Can I purchase alcohol at Coaster?
Yes, you will require a 18+ wristband to be eligible to purchase alcohol.  You must present current photo ID to receive  your wristband. It does not matter if you are a young chicken of 18 or decrepit oldie of 85 you will still be required to present ID.  Please note we will be practicing the responsible service of alcohol & encourage you to have a drink and enjoy yourself but if you go overboard we will habe to escort you from the premisies.

If you are caught giving alcohol to a minor – this is a criminal offence and will be dealt with accordingly.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

No. Alcohol is not allowed to be brought into the venue. The venue will have several bars which you can purchase alcohol from. All bags will be checked by security upon entry and any glass bottles, alcohol or opened drinks will be confiscated.
